Here I Am! Send Me

Isaiah 6:1-8, 9-13

You better be able to hear God's voice. If you want to experience a personal revival, hearing God's voice is critical.

John 10:4, 27

When have you last heard the sound of the Lord's voice calling your name?

The more a person draws closer to the Lord, the more aware they are of their sin. The more a person draws away from the Lord, the more they think that they are okay.

"Complacency at its root is pride"

If your eyes have been opened and your heart has been pierced, then you must move your feet.

2 Corinthians

God uses people that are willing.

Isaiah was commanded to serve until there wasn't an opportunity to do so anymore.

You never stop serving the Lord.

What assignment has the Lord given you? Would you be brave enough to ask him?

Take Home Truths:
1. God doesn't call the qualified, he qualifies the called.
2. God is looking for F.A.T. people (faithful, available, teachable)
3. It's time to answer God's call to personal revival.

Bridgebuilding (Pouring into Others)

Who is a leader to you? Why are they leaders to you?

Leadership is not because of what you do, it's about who you are.

Reputation is what others think of you, character is who you are when no one else is looking.

Are you a leader? (if you don't think so) Why can't you be one?

Outside of Jesus Christ the world has yet to see one follower fully committing to Him." -quote quoted by Ron Blevins

Ephesians 2:13-14

-Never be afraid to attempt the impossible and dream bigger dreams.
-Leaders face challenges too.

You have the ability to do the impossible. Nothing is impossible with God.

Your greatest challenge in life will come right before your greatest victory.

Make sure your tomorrow is secured by your today. Prepare yourself (that's what a relationship with Christ does). You have something to rely on.

Matthew 14

Whatever challenges you are going to face, Jesus has the answer to it.

Everybody needs bridges. We are all here today because we have crossed bridges put there by others.

The best leaders are bridge builders. They pour into others.

Are you doing for the betterment of others.

Build Bridges:
1. At your church
2. At your school
3. At home. This is the most challenging because they know ever one of your successes and your failures. Pray with them.

Leadership is something inclusive of all you do. Working toward the betterment of others.

School is the biggest mission field.

1 Thessalonians

Bridge builders are the most frustrated people in the Christian walk because even if you build a bridge to others, doesn't mean that they will notice or even care enough to walk halfway to meet you.

There is always someone watching you. Following you.

Each bridge you build will stay there. Build them anyway.

Open Your Eyes...

Isaiah 6:1-3

Look for an encounter that will forever change your life.

"As days go by I hope I don't stay the same."- Phil McHugh

Uzziah's death was Isaiah's wake up call.

What will it take for God to open your eyes?

He is up to something in your life. Open your eyes.

Open Your Eyes... And get a life-altering vision of the Lord.
-Get a vision of His Power
-Get a vision of His presence
-Get a vision of His praise

Not the eyes of your head, but the eyes of your heart so you can see him and his glory.

The Lord is on his throne.

Ephesians 3:20

There is no place that the Lord is not.

The wake up calls in our lives make us feel like God is distant.

Never will He leave you or forsake you.

You are now His temple.

1 Corinthians 3:16

Ephesians 5:18

What is keeping you from being filled with the Spirit?

Live dangerously. Live filled with the Holy Spirit every moment.

The Lord shows up in a huge way when we praise Him.

Here's why you will miss your wake up call to personal revival:
1. You're secure in your moral and religious foundation.
2. You're focused on "them". (other people)
3. You're anchored in the culture.
4. You're unaware that something's missing in your life.

Follower... The Start of a Revolution

We have to be careful who we mimic.

Matthew 3:13-4:1-11

Jesus gave us this pattern on how we need to act.

Jesus is the author of salvation, so he does the saving.

He shows us the next step. The next step after salvation is to proclaim. And we do that by being baptized.

He goes into the desert to prepare for ministry.

You are going to face tough decisions, are you going to take the easy way out? Satan was tempting him to take the easy way out, but Jesus chose to stick with God.

To grow in your relationship with God, you have to spend time with him.

Prayer deepens our relationship with our creator. Its our foundation.

Luke 4:38-39, 42

Jesus keeps the main thing, the main thing. He gets up and prays to God. He keeps the focus.

Luke 5:1-11

We need to invest in others, just like Jesus did.

Sin is keeping us from doing what Christ is calling us to do.

When you spend time with just 12 people, you can invest in each person more. Just like Jesus. And then they go out and spread the word and so on and so forth.

He takes the unworthy and makes them worthy.

God takes imperfect people and loves them right where they are at.

Who are you mimicking? Who are you following? What is their pattern?
